Victory on GMO in Jackson and Josephine Counties, Oregon

Voters in Oregon’s Jackson and Josephine counties took a stand against Monsanto and the biotech industry on GMOs yesterday, passing ballot measures to prohibit the cultivation of genetically modified crops within county borders in order to protect local crops from GMO pollen creep.   It is unclear at this point whether Josephine County’s law is enforceable.
